First, he asked whether we planned on covering Men’s Rights issues. A male coworker asked him what he’d suggest we cover. Then he wrote this.
Discrimination in divorce and custody courts. Domestic violence - false claims etc, mostly men arrested even when it is clearly the woman’s fault….
I feel like he makes some salient points and dismissing it as an “18 year old libertarian” doesn’t help much in the same way that dismissing a women’s comment as “an 18 year old libertarian” would provoke outrage. Although at the same time some of his points are of course way off base it still doesnt justify ignoring on whole or endearing to the point of “well isnt he just young and doesnt know the real world yet”
Except that everything he’s saying is either grossly inaccurate, wildly exaggerated, or rooted in misogyny that he’s clearly not willing to admit exists… So it does, in fact, justify dismissing it.
