Society has put up so many boundaries, so many limitations on what’s right and wrong that it’s almost impossible to get a pure thought out. It’s like a little kid, a little boy, looking at colors, and no one told him what colors are good, before somebody tells you you shouldn’t like pink because that’s for girls, or you’d instantly become a gay two-year-old. Why would anyone pick blue over pink? Pink is obviously a better color. Everyone’s born confident, and everything’s taken away from you.

“Everyone’s born confident, and everything’s taken away from you.”

In my opinion, this is the realest statement Kanye has ever made. Yes, realer than “George Bush hates black people”… everybody knew that already. But this is enlightening.

Some of my friends were recently saying they felt really sorry for Kim and Kanye’s baby because it will have Kanye as a father, and I was like, “Seriously?  Have you heard how affirming he is?  He is all about people reaching their highest potential and loving themselves as much as much as they can.”

I have so much love for Kanye.

One of the worst ways to stop someone from telling sexist jokes is to tell him the joke isn’t funny. He’ll assume that you’re humorless and that he needs to save the good stuff for the right audience. If you really want someone to stop telling sexist jokes, you need to tell him, “I don’t get it” and then step back as he tries not to say, “It’s funny because women are stupid.

Forget all that fake Etsy shit, the crappy Forever 21 clothes and all that other ‘native american inspired’ bullshit.

If you MUST have Native American style?  Get it for real.

Beyond Buckskin has a boutique featuring all native designers.  Haute couture to affordable and one-of-a-kind street wear items, as well as jewellery and accessories galore.

Additional authentic on-line stores can be found here.  Stop supporting the exploitation of our cultures which is running rampant right now via all of those knock-off items being massed produced overseas by people who have absolutely no connection (or clue) to Native American cultures.

I think a lot of people hear “We’re mad that you find our cultures beautiful” when what we’re really saying is, “We’re mad that your idea of showing appreciation for our cultures is buying mass produced shit from Urban Outfitters.” Nobody’s saying you can’t enjoy indigenous fashions and incorporate them into your wardrobe, but don’t think you’re doing us any favors unless you’re supporting a native artisan.

This. And I really want to know why it is so hard for these people to consider buyig from native artisans to begin with.

Oh, shit, this dress:
